I have loved OB care my whole career, but I fell in love with Gyn care in grad school. You can usually “fix” the issue and improve a woman’s quality of life. In high school Biology 2 there was a human placenta. I found it fascinating that the body could grow a whole new organ! I think that is where it all began, age 17. I love working in Women’s Health because I want to improve care for mothers, babies, women in general, families and society. Most people either love or hate WH, I absolutely LOVE it.
I have been married to my college sweetheart for almost 40 yrs. We have two grown children, both married and five grandchildren; three grand girls here and two grand boys in Washington DC. We have three rescue dogs.
