Since I first learned of the nurse practitioner role and decided to become one, I knew I wanted to work with women in a center that provided care without regard for one’s ability to pay. I also wanted to care for immigrants and speak Spanish. I have done so since day one! I have gotten to live my dream and I am so grateful. I started at Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region. Then went to Family Care Health Centers in St. Louis for 13 years. In 2007, I moved to Southern Indiana & worked at Planned Parenthood of Indiana. In 2015 I got the wonderful opportunity to come to Family Health Centers of Louisville.

My expertise are in family planning, STIs and vaginitis and low-risk obstetrics. I feel the woman is in charge of her visit and aim for her to feel relaxed and comfortable. I provide information and she makes the decisions according to her needs and beliefs.

I am married to a hobby farmer. We have 3 cats and about 8 chickens. I love yoga, lifting weights and walking for exercise. I am vegetarian and I like to cook with ingredients my husband grows.
