I have been a pediatrician with Family Health Centers for over 16 years, almost as long as I have lived in the Louisville area. Prior to working in Louisville, I was a pediatrician for 3 years in a community health center in Columbia, SC, where I fulfilled my commitment as a National Health Service Corps Scholar. I want all families to feel respected and heard as partners in caring for children. My philosophy is to advocate and empower your family to obtain support and resources to ensure your children are mentally and physically healthy.
As a mother of two with a fellow physician spouse, I understand the struggles of parenting as well as balancing work and family. I have traveled to Tanzania and Uganda for medical missions and included adventures with scuba diving, going on safari and hiking to see the gorillas. I am the President of the Hadassah Jewish Women’s Louisville Chapter and on the board of the Food Literacy Project. In my spare time I like to play Mah Jongg, crochet and walk the family dog, Captain Jack.
