I’ve been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2009. Majority of my experience has been in urgent care and Family Practice. Nursing education has been a passion on mine for over fifteen years where I was fortunate to educate many young nurses and nurse practitioners. Experience covers from Birth to Elderly. One of my dreams was to travel to rural areas, which took me to Toksook, Alaska Island of 600 to Native Alaskans. I had the privilege to care for them for two years in their native habit. My travels then took me to New Mexico for three years servicing Native Americans. Each year of working brought new discoveries, new research and life-long friendships. New to Family Health Centers but welcoming the adventure it brings with it.
Mother of two adults and Gigi to five grandchildren. My current passion is learning Spanish so I can communicate more effectively with my ESL patients.
