FAMILY HEALTH CENTERS, INC. AND JEFFERSON COUNTRY PUBLIC SCHOOLS ANNOUNCE OFFICIAL OPENING OF ITS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED JOINT VENTURE WITH LOUISVILLE’S IROQUOIS HIGH SCHOOL
WHAT: Family Health Centers Inc., Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS), and Iroquois High School to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its newest School-Based Health Center at Iroquois High School. This site aims to expand access to primary health care and behavioral health services in one of JCPS’s accelerated improvement schools. JCPS’s partnership with the Family Health Centers will help students obtain needed immunizations and physical exams and is expected to help improve overall health and other indicators such as absenteeism.
