Hello everyone (Hola a todas)! I am a licensed professional clinical counselor supervisor (LPCC-S), a certified therapist in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and a veteran in the U.S. Army chaplaincy.
As a mental health clinician, I have in-depth clinical expertise in dual diagnosis treatment (simultaneously treating both addiction and mental health issues, for example, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar, PTSD, mood, and OCPD disorders) in which I strive to empower patients/clients as a holistic, whole-person with effective therapeutic interventions, resources, the knowledge, and support necessary to participate fully and effectively in all aspects of their daily lives and recovery! Having tons of years of experience, I only provide proven, evidence-based comprehensive mental health care (for example, PCT, BSFT, TF-CBT, et cetera) with children, teens, adults, families, and couples with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Throughout my professional career, people say that I am kind, non-judgmental, a good listener, energetic, friendly, enthusiastic, accepting, and easy to communicate with. Personally, I believe that everyone should have a safe, judgement free, and healing place/environment to grow and develop through life’s pains, sufferings, and tribulations!
In my leisure time, I enjoy camping (at Kentucky’s campgrounds) with my family and friends, riding both of my motorcycles (sport and tour bikes), and reading and studying my Bible, specifically the book of Psalms.
