Since 2009, the Healthy Ideas (HI!) patient advisory group meets to address health literacy issues and provide valuable patient and family feedback about Family Health Centers. The HI! Group provides a patient perspective and important insights for changes to improve our materials and services.
Contact the FHC Health Educator at (502) 772-8588 to learn about participating with the HI! Group.
Family Health Centers is governed by a volunteer Board of Governors. Our Board is comprised of patients, individuals representing neighbors and populations we serve, and those with an interest or expertise in our work.
The Survivors of Torture Service Program works with volunteers to assist with client tasks such as with practicing English, studying for the citizenship interview, going on outings, and transporting and/or accompanying patients to appointments. This volunteer opportunity requires an application, a background check, and orientation.
